The present day location is at 137 Beechwood Road in Sharon Springs. Fire protection is extended to the entire Town of Sharon and a portion of the Town of Seward - approximately 40 square miles. The fire department is funded entirely by taxes and fundraisers. Fund drives are held for apparatus. Equipment is purchased on a 30-year plan, and the department selects quality apparatus with the intention of utilizing it for that period of time.
